Vacation Bible School June 9-13, 2008 9:00am - 12:00 noon for ages 3 years through 6th grade. A nursery for babies up to age 2 will be provided for only the workers. This year's theme is the "Outrigger Island -- Living God's Unshakeable Truth" by LifeWay. |
May 19, 2008 Dear Neighborhood Friends, Our theme for this year is Outrigger Island “Living God’s Unshakable Truth” so you can expect some great Hawaiian themed decorations. Also, we will have a water games day on Friday, June 13th for recreation. A new addition to our VBS this year is a kick off block party on Sunday, June 8th starting at 3p.m. and ending around dark. We will have water games (so come prepared to get wet), hot dogs, popcorn, moon bouncers, and many more activities for your family to enjoy. We hope to see each one of you there. Admission and all activities are free. To end our VBS week we will have a family night on Sunday, June 15th starting at 6 p.m. This will be a time for you to see what your children have learned and how much fun they have had during the week. We will also have a finger food meal afterward, which every one is invited to attend. We are looking forward to seeing your children at Vacation Bible School and meeting each one of you. If you have any questions or need a ride for your children to and from VBS you can call the church office at 723-4614. Attached is a pre-registration form for your child. There are also registration forms on our website - www.firstbaptistnewhope.com. These forms will tell us who has permission to pick up your child and if they have any allergies we should know about.
