April 21, 2008 Howdy! Wow! I can't believe that I have been back in the States for a
couple of months now. It has taken me a while to adjust to having electricity 24 hours a day and other things that we have here. I miss the Roma
children in Kosovo and the many friends that I made. It was very hard to leave them, but I was glad to get
back to America! It took a while for me to catch up with things, but I think I am doing ok now. I do not know what my next step is in life. I am doing that thing I hate the most: WAITING. I am staying in North Carolina until I know what the Lord wants me to do next. I am living in a furnished apartment that is month to month and I have not unpacked anything yet. However I have to live, so I prayed long and hard about what to do and for now I am working at a Christian Children's Home as a house parent. The home is supposed to open up a new house for children who have been severely abused and I am supposed to help them get it started. The home is yet to open so I am a house parent for teenage boys!!! I am not sure what is harder: serving in a third world country or working with teenage boys!!! My schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off, so I hope this will help me go to Alabama, Chicago, and other places to visit family and friends more often.
